BuzzShift; Content Strategist
Aug 2020 – Current
Buzzshift is a Digital Marketing + Growth Agency that primarily works with DTC/eCommerce brands of all varieties.
As a Content Strategist, my role primarily consists of gathering data, insights, and trend reports that help inform personalized, growth-oriented strategies that help my clients excel across their entire Digital Ecosystem. I work closely with our Paid Media and Creative teams to implement thoughtful, relevant, and eye-catching Content Strategies and creative assets, whether that be for paid social ads (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Display), email campaigns, landing pages, website wireframes, organic social calendar planning, influencer partnership programs and more.
A client win that I’m proud of: Working with an eCommerce jewelry brand during their re-branding process, which ultimately led to an entire shift in both their business and content strategy. In Q3 of 2021, they experienced a 68% increase in site CVR, a 117% increase in total sales as well as a 12% increase in AOV. This wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible team I work with.
Integrity Botanicals; Social Media Manager
June 2019 – Current
Integrity Botanicals; Operations Associate
May 2019 – August 2019
Integrity Botanicals, founded in 2011, is a premier online shopping destination for natural and organic beauty products.
My role primarily consists of Social Media/Community Management as well as social content creation and photography. In addition to these responsibilities, I craft monthly Social Media content calendars. My planning process also includes post caption copywriting, post-execution, and post engagement (replies, customer service via DM, etc). I also audit and analyze performance to then drive future monthly calendars and content creation.
A win that I’m proud of: Establishing an incredible, and supportive community of loyal customers. They feel that they not only have a place to feel heard but that they can trust and feel confident in the products we are promoting due to their efficacy and high-quality formulations.
Delta Gamma; Director of Public Relations
Nov 2017–Jan 2019
Delta Gamma was founded in 1873 in Oxford, Mississippi, at the Lewis School for Girls by three young women. Today, Delta Gamma at the University of Mississippi boasts a chapter of over 400 women.
My role as Director of Public Relations often times resembled that of a Social Media Manager, Community Outreach Manager, Events Photographer and unofficial moral captain when it came time to getting members excited about our Social Media and all of the possibilities it held to further our initiatives on campus!
A win that I’m proud of: During my time as the Director of Public Relations we were honored with two prestigious awards - The Delta Gamma Foundation National Communications Award and the University of Mississippi’s Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life Chapter of the Year. In addition to this, there was an immense uplift in participation and excitement surrounding our social media channels during my time as director.
